Naval Minesweeper ship

Will donate to 501c3

if you are a 501c3 Non-Profit, then our company may be open to donating this vessel to a non-profit outright.

We are selling the HMCS Chaleur naval minesweeper ship.

Built in 1954 for the Canadian Navy, she is 144' Long.

This is a piece of international naval history.

No tours available.

Anyone trespassing will be fined, as their are multiple no trespassing signs posted.

She is currently docked in freshwater in the delta near Stockton.

She does not currently run, and would require new engines and prop shafts if one wanted her to sail again.

As a minesweeper she was constructed of all non-ferrous materials. Her hull is all old growth African Mahogany, her deck is Teak, and she is mostly all Aluminum in her superstructure.

All valves and fittings are brass, bronze or stainless steel.

This could go two ways for a potential buyer:
1. Restore her and have the most incredible private yacht or barge imaginable.
or
2. Recycle her and unlock over $400,000 in non ferrous metal value as well as all the value of the old growth wood value. (For example: Her 12 cylinder engines are solid stainless steel and are each the size of car.)

We will consider any serious offers.
