1964 Columbia Challenger flush deck

sailboat project in the water at a friends dock to give to someone who will finish her up ..

this is a fantastic starter boat /day sailor with a great history.

The hull is in great shape with no soft spots . most of the work needed is inside and is wood work ..

she does need hauling out and having the hull cleaned tho ... the biggest problem is one bulk head needs part replacement . the new part is cut and I may get around to fixing it before someone takes her but don't count on it .. as I am working out of town these days and just do not have time to complete the boat .. don't get me wrong this is not a sailaway boat .. you will need to fix the bulkhead .. put in new lines and halyards and clean the bottom before going sailing ..

she does have a good set of sails and included is a 6hp merk out board which I was told by PO runs good, however I have not heard it run so its as is ... but it has been stored inside out of the water and has good compression so think it will be ok ..

Boat has to be moved ...

you can slap a running motor on her and move her under her own power as I did when I brought her in ..
